What We Supply

We make some basic equipment available at the Memorial Scout Camp at Spectacle Pond that you can use to make your camping experience more enjoyable. Here's what is available for use at the camp:
  • Propane Lanterns (we do not supply propane)
  • Propane Stove (we do not supply propane)
  • Dutch Ovens
  • Various Pots, Pans, and Cooking Utensils
  • Canoes, Paddles, Life Jackets
  • Wood Tools - Saws, Axes, Camp Shovels
  • Blue Flame Heater For Cabin (we do not supply propane)
  • Gas Grill (we do not supply propane)
  • Limited Amount Of Paper Goods - Restocking The Cabinet Is Appreciated
  • Eight Plywood Bunks In Cabin​
  • Picnic and Dining Tables With Benches

What You Need

Bring Your Own...
  • ​Drinking Water
  • 1lb Propane Tanks For Lanterns & Stove
  • 20lb Propane Tanks For Gas Grill & Cabin Heater
  • Sleeping Pads For Bunks
  • Tents & Sleeping Bags
  • ​​Firewood
    • The Camp Ranger No Longer Fills The Woodshed
    • You can cut up blow down or dead stand on the camp property
    • If you want good quality firewood for cooking...Bring Your Own
You should always bring any camping gear that you will NEED, even if you know we supply it. Things can go missing or get damaged at camp and we may not be able to replace these items before your stay. Remember - YOUR gear is a sure thing.
