The Memorial Scout Camp At Spectacle Pond
"A Magical Place...Where the Spirit Lives"
The Memorial Scout Camp at Spectacle Pond is located in Osborn, Maine. It was purchased in 2012 from Joe & Julie Beggs, the grandparents of Adam Beggs. The property is a 2 acre lot with 255 feet of shoreline. Groups using the property can spend the night on provided bunks in Adam's Cabin, or provide their own tents and stay in the Goodwin Campsite. Adam's Cabin sleeps 8, while approximately 24 people can be accommodated by the Goodwin Campsite, depending on tent size and number of people per tent. The video below gives an overview of the camp's facilities.

"The Memorial Scout Camp is a beautiful retreat for all to experience. To be able to go to a place where strangers are welcome, and treated like family, is far and few between. The spirit of Joe and Adam Beggs, and Craig Goodwin can be felt throughout the camp. Sitting on the dock, watching the sun rise, was very peaceful and serene"
