Dear Friends,
As we close the books on Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp's seventh year of operation, I am proud to report that our programs continue to flourish. During 2017, the Memorial Scout Camp at Spectacle Pond was occupied for 42 days by scout groups, scout families, and members of the general public. We sponsored community service projects that benefitted the City of Lewiston. Our scout-oriented donation programs continued to reach across both state and national borders to assist scouts in need. Our Board of Directors should be proud of the accomplishments that are highlighted below.
The following are some of the highlights and accomplishments from 2017.
During 2017, the Corporation received income of $7,456. The expenses of the Corporation totaled $6,957. On December 31, 2017, the net value of the Corporation’s cash assets was $7,564. The estimated fair market value of the Corporation’s physical assets is $81,300. The total value of the Corporation is estimated at $88,864.
In closing, I would like to thank the Board of Directors, our volunteers, and contributors for their continued support. I would encourage our Directors to stay focused on Promoting Wilderness Camping - Supporting The Worldwide Scouting Movement - Sponsoring Community Service.
Respectfully Submitted, Date: January 2, 2018
