2016 Annual Report (PDF Version)
Dear Friends,
Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp has now completed its sixth year of operation. During 2016, our organization continued to offer the use of the Memorial Scout Camp at Spectacle Pond at no cost to anyone interested in wilderness camping experiences. We sponsored community service projects within the Lewiston / Auburn area of Maine. Our scout oriented donation programs reached across both state and national borders to assist scouts in need. We feel that we have developed a well rounded scouting organization and dedicate ourselves to the task of improving our existing programs in 2017.
During 2016, the Corporation received income of $7,267. The expenses of the Corporation totaled $5,368. On December 31, 2016, the net value of the Corporation’s cash assets was $7,589. The estimated fair market value of the Corporation’s physical assets is $81,300. The total value of the Corporation is estimated at $88,889.
In closing, I would like to thank the Board of Directors, our volunteers, and contributors for their continued support. I would encourage our Directors to stay focused on Promoting Wilderness Camping - Supporting The Worldwide Scouting Movement - Sponsoring Community Service.
