Dear Friends,
Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp has now completed twelve years of operation. During 2022, the Memorial Scout Camp at Spectacle Pond was occupied for 46 days by scout groups, scout families, and members of the general public. We continued to support the homeless population of Lewiston, ME by purchasing and donating $200 of food and supplies, per month, to Sheltered by Jesus L/A Homeless Shelter. Our scout-oriented donation programs reached scouts from seventeen different U.S. states.
The following are some of the highlights and accomplishments from 2022…
During 2022, the Corporation received income of $25,365. The expenses of the Corporation totaled $18,764. On December 31, 2022, the net value of the Corporation’s cash assets was $22,764. The estimated fair market value of the Corporation’s physical assets is $87,200. The total value of the Corporation is estimated at $109,964.
In closing, we would like to thank the Board of Directors, our volunteers, and benefactors for their continued support. We would encourage our Directors to stay focused on Promoting Wilderness Camping - Supporting The Worldwide Scouting Movement - Sponsoring Community Service.
