The Craig Goodwin Legacy

Picture
Craig Goodwin was born on July 9, 1970. He was a scout in Troop 160 from 1981 until his death on June 6, 1984. Craig was a scout who came from a single parent home of modest means. Craig gave 100% of himself to all of his endeavors. Craig will always be remembered for his exuberant spirit and his willingness to work hard to earn his way.

The Memorial Scout Camp at Spectacle Pond was founded in memory of Craig Goodwin and Adam Beggs in October 2010.  T
he Goodwin Campsite was named in memory of Craig.  In order to further his legacy, each year the MSC awards the Craig Goodwin Campership to a scout who has limited financial means, but shows willingness to work hard to pay his or her own way within their scout group.
