2012 Annual Report (PDF version)
Dear Friends,
It brings me great pleasure to announce that 2012 will be known as the year that Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp evolved from a dream into a reality. Due to the efforts of our Board of Directors and the generosity of our benefactors, we were able to achieve our fund raising goal of $52,250 by the end of the third quarter. Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp is now open and available for use.
The following are some of the highlights and accomplishments from 2012.
During 2012, the Corporation received income of $48,872. The expenses of the Corporation totaled $53,557. On December 31, 2012, the net value of the Corporation’s cash assets was $8,232. The estimated fair market value of the Corporation’s physical assets is $69,500. The total value of the Corporation is estimated at $77,732.
In closing, I would like to thank the Board of Directors, our volunteers, and financial supporters for making 2012 a banner year. With our capital campaign behind us, it is time for Corporation to focus on its primary mission - Promoting Wilderness Camping Experiences. I challenge the Board of Directors to move forward with a reaffirmed sense of dedication to the promotion of scouting ideals and community service.
