Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp is a fairly low-budget non-profit; our annual income and expenses do not typically exceed $10,000. Our funds come primarily from the MSC Trading Post, our eBay store; from our supporter's donations, and from various raffles. Additionally, our organization is entirely run by unpaid volunteers; our expenses are almost entirely on program, with a minimal amount of expenses on promotion and administration.

Above are our expenses from 2015 and our budgeted expenses for 2016. Our expenses for 2015 are far greater than our budgeted expenses for 2016 for two reasons. Firstly, 2016 is the first year that our camp expenses will be including only standard maintenance, rather than the major improvements (installing a deck for Adam's Cabin, clearing our more space for the Goodwin Campsite, and adding the Joe Beggs Waterfront) conducted in 2014 and 2015. Secondly, we typically spend more on the MSC Campership Program than budgeted, depending on the availability of funds and on the quality of applications. When we receive a number of high quality applications, the board has occasionally dipped into unbudgeted funds to issue Awards of Merit to deserving scouts not selected for camperships.
