MSC Scouts Against Hunger
The Scouts Against Hunger Program was launched in November of 2012.  The program was designed as a food collection and donation program to benefit the Saint Martin De Porres Homeless Shelter in Lewiston, ME.  From the program’s conception, until the onset of the Covid Pandemic, the program consisted of an annual food drive along with a purchase and donation program.

Since 2012, over $25,000 worth of food and supplies have been collected or purchased and donated to the shelter.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the program received a facelift in 2020.  The program has now become a strict purchase and donation program. Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp has committed to supply St Martin De Porres Homeless Shelter with $200 worth of food and supplies per month, through 2021.

If you would like to make a contribution to help offset the costs of this program, please do so using our Gofundme Charity account.
